High above the little town of Lenzburg, on its round hilltop, stands one of the oldest and most important castles in Switzerland. Its earliest parts date back to the 11th century, when the Counts of Lenzburg made it their seat. Today you’ll find a magnificent medieval setting: the Knights’ Hall, an atmospheric courtyard, well-kept gardens and sweeping views over the town and the Aargau countryside. Three museums bring the castle to life – a residential museum, an exhibition on knighthood and nobility, and a children’s museum built around Fauchi, the castle’s legendary baby dragon.
From Zurich it’s only about 40 kilometres. Instead of train changes, timetables and the walk up the hill, your private chauffeur takes you there directly and in comfort in a Mercedes V-Class. No traffic stress, no parking search, no public transport – nobody in your group has to drive, and on the way back an apéro is even an option.
We’re your private chauffeur service, not a tour agency: we handle the comfortable round-trip drive, while you buy your castle entry and any guided tour easily on site. The result is a relaxed half-day, door to door.
