Can we bring skis and snowboards?

Yes, of course. We carry skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and poles free of charge. For the equipment we use a Mercedes Sprinter, Sprinter with trailer or coach – never a limousine. Tell us when you enquire how many pairs of skis or boards you have with you, and we will choose the right vehicle.

How many people and how much equipment fit in the Sprinter?

Up to 20 people travel in the Mercedes Sprinter together with their ski equipment in a single vehicle. If the bus is fully occupied, we hitch up a trailer just for the equipment. For larger groups we arrange coaches for up to 30 or up to 50 people, with a trailer if required.

Are the vehicles winter-ready (winter tyres, snow chains)?

Yes. Our vehicles run with all-wheel drive/4MATIC and winter tyres, with snow chains if required. Our chauffeurs know the mountain road from Reichenau up to Flims and Laax and the wintry weather conditions, so that you reach the slopes safely and on time.

Is ski transport included in the price?

Yes, the transport of skis and snowboards is included in the price – at no extra charge. The agreed fixed price stays unchanged even with snow, traffic jams or a diversion; there is no winter surcharge. You will receive the binding price for your group on request.

Do you drive to the valley station or to the accommodation?

Yes. We take you door to door right up to your hotel, chalet or to the right valley station in Flims, Laax Murschetg or Falera – right to the door. No changing over, no lugging luggage: you get out at your destination and are right by the slopes.

Do you also pick up large groups and ski schools?

Yes. Ski clubs, ski schools, clubs and company groups are in the right place with us. From the Sprinter to the coach for up to 50 people, your group stays together and the equipment travels along. Give us the number of people, the equipment, the date and the pick-up points for a suitable quote.

You land at Zurich Airport (ZRH) and want to head straight to the LAAX ski area with your skis, snowboard and the whole group – with no changeover in Chur, no lugging luggage along the platform and no connecting bus. SWIVON picks you up, equipment and all, at the terminal and takes you door to door right up to your hotel, chalet or directly to the valley station in Flims, Laax Murschetg or Falera. For ski equipment we use spacious vehicles exclusively: Mercedes Sprinter, Sprinter with trailer and coach.

Our vehicles for the ski transfer to LAAX

Skis and snowboards do not fit in an E- or S-Class. For winter sports we therefore rely exclusively on vans and coaches with real storage space.

Mercedes Sprinter – up to 20 people with equipment

The Mercedes Sprinter offers plenty of room for passengers, skis, boards and luggage in a single vehicle. Winter-ready with all-wheel drive and winter tyres – the first choice for families and smaller ski groups heading into Graubünden.

Sprinter with trailer – when the bus is fully occupied

If you are travelling at full capacity, we hitch up a trailer: that way all the ski equipment stays safely and dryly stowed, while inside every seat remains free for your group.

Coach with trailer – for large groups, ski schools & clubs

For large groups we arrange coaches (up to 30 / up to 50 people): the luggage travels in the underfloor compartment, and with a lot of equipment additionally in the trailer. If you would prefer to hire a coach with a chauffeur yourself, we provide the right vehicle. For medium-sized groups a Sprinter or minibus for up to 20 people is also suitable.

No limousines: For ski transfers we drive exclusively Sprinters, Sprinters with trailer and coaches – so that skis, boards and luggage are guaranteed to come along.

Ski luggage & equipment

We carry skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and poles free of charge. Simply tell us when you enquire how many pairs of skis or boards you are bringing and whether you have any bulky equipment with you – then we choose a Sprinter, Sprinter with trailer or coach so that everything is safely stowed. We will of course help with loading at the terminal.

Groups, ski schools & clubs

Ski clubs, ski schools, company outings and large chalet parties are in the right place with us. From the Sprinter for the family to the coach for up to 50 people, your group stays together, the luggage travels in the same convoy, and you arrive at the ski area as one. Just give us the number of people, the equipment, the date and the pick-up points – and we will plan the ski transfer.

The mountain road from the Reichenau exit up to Flims and Laax can be demanding in winter. Our vehicles are winter-ready (all-wheel drive/4MATIC, winter tyres), with snow chains if required, and our chauffeurs know the route and the weather conditions. The agreed price stays fixed – even with snow, traffic jams or a diversion there is no winter surcharge.

You receive a quote with the right vehicle (Sprinter / Sprinter with trailer / coach) and your chauffeur’s details.
The chauffeur meets you at the airport, helps load the equipment and takes you right up to your accommodation or to the valley station.

Route & travel time from Zurich Airport

The distance is around 150 km, and the pure travel time is about 1 hour 45 minutes. The route runs along the A3 past Lake Walen, then on the A13 towards Chur as far as the Reichenau exit (No. 18) and from there up the mountain road in around 20 minutes to Flims, Laax and Falera. During peak season and at weekends we build in time buffers so that you reach the slopes on time.

Meet & Greet, flight tracking & waiting time – around the clock

We track your flight in real time and adjust the pick-up time automatically. On this longer route to the ski area the personal welcome is included: the chauffeur waits for you with a name sign in the arrivals hall, helps with the luggage and equipment and accompanies you to the vehicle. A generous waiting time is included, and our service is available 24/7.

The LAAX ski area

LAAX – the shared winter sports brand for Flims, Laax and Falera in Graubünden – is one of the largest and most snow-sure ski areas in Switzerland: around 224 kilometres of pistes (176 km of slopes plus 40 km of ski routes) between 1,100 and 3,018 metres, served by some 30 lifts. LAAX is famous for its freestyle scene, with several snow parks and the largest halfpipe in the world, the “Big Beast” Superpipe at Crap Sogn Gion. The season runs roughly from late November to mid-April. We take you directly to the right valley station in Flims, Laax Murschetg or Falera.

We are your partner for the return journey too. We pick you up, equipment and all, in front of your hotel, chalet or at the valley station in Flims, Laax Murschetg or Falera and take you to Zurich Airport (ZRH) in good time. The return journey is made with the same spacious type of vehicle – Sprinter, Sprinter with trailer or coach – and with a time buffer for the mountain road, so that you catch your flight in a relaxed frame of mind.
