The Creux du Van is one of Switzerland’s most dramatic natural wonders: a vast horseshoe-shaped rock amphitheatre in the Neuchâtel Jura, with sheer limestone walls roughly 150 metres high and an arena about 1,400 metres wide. From the Le Soliat viewpoint (1,463 m) you stand right at the edge and look down into the cirque — on a clear day the view stretches across the Val-de-Travers all the way to the Alps. This is Switzerland’s oldest nature reserve, home to ibex, chamois and marmots that you can often watch surprisingly close.
With SWIVON your private day tour begins relaxed at your door. Instead of working out connecting trains into the remote Val-de-Travers, we drive you privately in a Mercedes V-Class straight to the start of the trail — nobody has to drive, no traffic jams, no hunting for parking on the narrow Jura roads. You walk the cliff edge at your own pace, take in the panorama, and your chauffeur is ready whenever you return.
We are your private transport, not a tour agency: you do the hike on your own and pay for any mountain-restaurant stop locally. Our job is the comfortable, fully planned drive there and back.
