Spices Kitchen & Terrace sits on a platform overhanging the Bürgenberg ridge that seems to float above Lake Lucerne, with a 180-degree sweep to the Alpine horizon. The open show kitchen sends out authentic Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Indian dishes made with premium ingredients. It is as much spectacle as it is a meal.
The cliff-top setting, funicular access and resort logistics make self-driving tedious.
